Well, this is called a fake, and people think that they are created with the purpose to confuse the users, to make a joke or with bad intentions.
I think that there's another possibility... imagine you are working with your computer and your eMule is opened, downloading, and you really want to get porn movies but without your friends can see that, what the people does? they rename "Some.Porn.Movie.XXX.avi" to "Pirates.of.the.Caribbean.3.avi", and doing that, other P2P users that are really interested in "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie, they end up downloading a porn movie.
