The answer is yes (and guest what, without Flash ads!), there are some great iPad applications that you can actually use to create a website and even publish it to the WWW.

First, I must say that this is only a list of iPad apps that can be helpful in only simple and basic web development, and are useful for professional web developers as utilities for daily work, nothing else.

So... here's a first quick overview of the apps I recommend:

First step: A meeting with your client (or your co-workers). With WebEx, by Cisco, you can quickly setup a meeting using text chat or voice conference, share presentations, documents and share your screen, best of all, it supports meetings with multiple participants at the same time.

Second step: Creating a wireframe. Omnigraffle and iMockups for iPad are the best options I found.

Omnigraffle seems to be the most complete choice, for a price of $49.99 you can have one of the best apps in the store, you can create diagrams, process charts, page layouts, website wireframe and graphics designs.

iMockups is the cheaper option ($9.99), only for basic drawings.

Now that you have finished with the wireframe, you can send it to your client using the native build-in Mail application, fast and simple, and once you get the approval, it's time to start getting some images and retouching them. With the Safari browser you can save pictures directly to your Photos application (for example you can buy stock images from iStockPhoto.com) and then, make some basic image retouching with PhotoPad.

Before you start coding, you'll need to upload the retouched pictures to your FTP with FTP On The Go. There are two different versions, normal and PRO, the only difference is that the PRO version freatures enhanced iPad support, so this is the one you really need.

Are you ready for some HTML and CSS coding? Then get your fingers ready and download Gusto, create a new project, setup the FTP where the website is going to be hosted, and start writing.

Gusto supports tabbed editing of multiple documents at a time, a local and remote preview, a built-in FTP client, syntax highlighting, and also file sharing with iTunes, Photo Library and your Dropbox account.

It's time to setup your server via SSH with iSSH, a complete Telnet emulator of VT100, VT102, VT220, ANSI, xterm, and xterm-color terminals, that also supports VNC connections, here is the proof:

And finally, thanks to Analytics HD you can access your Google Analytics data.

The Lorep Ipsum original text has a purpose, explained in the main website:

The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English.

But this is not the text you have to copy, there's a button below to generate it! if you do a "quick search and stats" you'll see that the 10% of people are doing it wrong.

I've decided to try, and everything seems to be working like a charm, no extra-weird step needed.

1.- Download Plone 3.3 Unified Installer
http://launchpad.net/plone/3.3/3.3/+download/Plone-3.3-UnifiedInstaller-20090907.tgz

2.- Unzip and install with your preferred method, I used:

sudo ./install standalone

3.- And that's it, run the instance and within 10 seconds you'll have Plone up and running
