My name is Marc Pampols (aka: Rockhound), I'm from Spain and 26 years old, since 2007 until today, I'm working as a Plone Developer at SEMIC Internet, building web applications and websites mainly for public administration, at the same time I'm a freelance developer and 3D generalist artist.
My biggest passion is everything related to computer graphics, 3D renders, visual effects and animation, I've always loved it, so I'm open for new projects and job opportunities.
When I was young, I started with the demo version of 3d Studio 4 with my old 486 dx2/66, learning from lots of tutorials and testing lots of IPA's, plug-ins and new 3D programs... and of course, I'm still doing it.
In 2003 we founded a demoscene group (2003-2006) where we made some interesting and funny 4k intros, opengl demos, 2d/3d graphics and some chiptune music, we still have the website up with the prods, and also you can take a look at our group page at pouet.net
At the time I was studying I got my first job at a small web development company in Lleida, and later in 2006 I started the social network website YoteConozco.com with my friends Carles Godia and Jaume Bellet, a great experience building our first start-up from scratch.
I'm always trying to get the perfect pixel web design while always learning with the latest cutting edge technologies and staying updated, I like all the good practices in the development and creative process, playing nice with good people, companies and clients, and of course, be always proud of my work.
Specialities:
Video editing with Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas, and basic compositing skills with Nuke.
Web design from Photoshop to XHTML / CSS.
Web development with PHP, WordPress, Plone and Python.
